Senior Citizen

As per Republic Act 9994 of the "Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010", a DISCOUNT of 5% is given to all households with QUALIFIED SENIOR CITIZENS.

  • Who can avail the discount?

    1. The Meter/Meter registration is under the Senior Citizen for at least one (1) year;

  • Qualifications

    1. Monthly consumption does not exceed One Hundred Kilowatt-hours (100kwh).
    2. KWH Meter is registered in the name of the Senior Citizen residing therein.
    3. Granted per household regardless of the number of Senior Citizens residing.

  • Requirements

    1. Photocopy of the Senior Citizen Identification Card or OSCA Card.
    2. Photocopy of ZAMSURECO II Power Bill or printed Ledger of Power Bill Account.
    3. Barangay Clearance (Proof of Residency).

  • How much discount is given to qualified applicants?

    5% discount every billing period for the following charges
    • Generation
    • Transmission
    • Distribution, Metering, Supply
    • System Loss
    • Loan Condonation
    According to the ERC Supplemental Guidelines, the 5% discount does not apply to the total bill of the consumer.
